Two-Component Epoxy Adhesive

Select the adhesive, binder or seaming tape together with the materials being joined and the approved system specification.

Two-Component Epoxy Adhesive is a resin-and-hardener product considered for rigid bonding, local repair or technical connections on compatible concrete and metal surfaces. Suitability for flexible turf seams or moving joints must not be assumed without specific documentation. Surface profiling and cleaning, mixing ratio, pot life, application temperature, layer thickness, mechanical or chemical loads and full cure must be verified against the current technical data and project requirements.

Selection and technical review

State the turf backing, tape, granule or floor-covering type, substrate, environment and application area. Verify components, mixing ratio, consumption, pot life and curing conditions against the current TDS, and safety and storage against the SDS. Different chemical families are not automatically interchangeable.

Application and handover preparation

Check substrate preparation, compatibility, weather and application sequence against the technical instructions. Link trial application and batch records to project control; do not open a joint or surface to use before the specified curing and acceptance conditions are met. Seaming tape is not an adhesive on its own.
