Industrial flooring

Heavy-Duty Modular PVC Flooring

Assess industrial flooring against vehicle loads, process exposure and operating conditions.

Heavy-Duty Modular PVC Flooring is an interlocking surface solution that provides replaceable tiles for warehouses, workshops and production areas exposed to intensive pedestrian traffic and wheeled equipment. Tile thickness and lock geometry are selected for total vehicle weight, wheel type, axle and point loads, turning movements and operating temperature. Substrate flatness, moisture, joints, perimeter details, chemical exposure, slip and fire performance must be verified against current product data before installation.

Selection and technical review

Provide vehicle types, wheel and point loads, traffic, chemicals, temperature, cleaning regime and concrete condition. Epoxy layers, modular PVC and anti-static systems have different requirements; verify electrical resistance or load class using the selected system's documents and test method.

Application and handover preparation

Plan production interruptions, phases, preparation, joints, grounding needs and curing or installation time. Agree acceptance checks, maintenance and repairs with the operating team. A product name alone does not imply unlimited loading, chemical resistance or ESD compliance.
