Layers, documentation scope and acceptance checks
A sports surface is more than its top layer. Intended use, the existing base, drainage, surface system and maintenance method are reviewed together. Layer type and thickness depend on the project detail, selected product and current technical documents; one build-up is not recommended for every field.
For football fields, FIFA Quality status cannot be assumed from a product name alone. Laboratory tests for the relevant system, tests of the installed field and the scope of valid documentation must be checked separately. Specifications and test criteria for tennis and other sports require their own review.

Samples, installation scope, acceptance checks and maintenance responsibilities are clarified in the written project quotation; no unsupported drainage, shock-absorption or service-life guarantee is given.
