UV-Resistant Polyurethane Protective Varnish
Review the protective layer together with the substrate, exposure and required surface texture.
UV-Resistant Polyurethane Protective Varnish is considered as a clear protective finish over coloured polyurethane or compatible resin flooring approved in its technical data. It supports surface appearance and exterior durability, but no varnish should be presented as an absolute UV shield that prevents colour change indefinitely. Compatibility, matt or gloss appearance, coverage, slip behaviour, application temperature, overcoating interval and maintenance cycle must be confirmed from current product data.
Selection and technical review
State the existing floor system, indoor or outdoor use, traffic, chemical or UV exposure, colour and slip requirements. Varnish, epoxy coats and textured resins serve different roles; verify intercoat compatibility, consumption, film thickness and performance classes using current product and system documents.
Application and handover preparation
Check preparation and recoating conditions, then assess appearance and texture on a trial area. Tie mixing, application, curing and maintenance to the product instructions. Slip resistance or colour durability cannot be guaranteed from a generic product description alone.
